A premium streetwear flagship for one of Japan's most iconic fashion houses. AAPE by A Bathing Ape at The Dubai Mall is a bold architectural fit-out — a curved dark fascia, illuminated channel signage, concrete-effect surfaces and full-height glass that makes an unmistakable statement.

A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and its sub-label AAPE are among the most culturally significant streetwear brands in the world — a Japanese phenomenon that has shaped global fashion for three decades. Opening at The Dubai Mall required a fit-out that could match that global reputation. Davies Group UAE delivered a space that stops shoppers in their tracks.
The store is defined by its curved dark fascia — a continuous arc of deep charcoal cladding with full-height glass that wraps the entire shopfront. Illuminated channel-letter signage in polished chrome sits against the dark surface, glowing with the brand's signature confidence. Inside, concrete-effect wall panelling and polished black floors create a gallery atmosphere that puts the product centre-stage.
The geometric ceiling grid in dark metal visually reinforces the architectural ambition of the brand. Every element was designed and built by our in-house team — from the bespoke joinery to the precision lighting — delivering a flagship that AAPE was proud to open in one of the world's most competitive retail environments.
