Davies Group UAE has delivered two The Steak Bar locations in Dubai — The Beach, JBR and DIFC — with the JBR location now closed, leaving this DIFC café as the brand's current UAE home. The concept was inspired by a sister store at Harrods, London, reimagined by Davies Group UAE with the client's own ideas and finished throughout in marble.

Davies Group UAE has delivered two UAE locations for The Steak Bar — an earlier café at The Beach, JBR, and this current location at DIFC. The JBR café has since closed, leaving DIFC as the brand's sole UAE home today.
The original concept was inspired by a sister store inside Harrods, London. The client briefed Davies Group UAE with their own ideas for the space, and our in-house design team developed them into an original concept of our own, finished throughout in high-end materials including marble counters and surrounds.
A sculptural timber-and-gold honeycomb ceiling feature anchors the café, suspended above a marble-finished service counter and glass display case. A fully retractable glazed storefront opens the café onto DIFC's outdoor seating, blurring the line between the indoor dining room and the plaza outside.
